Spotted in a road a few streets away from us;
I sort of hope the flowers will survive in their new flowerbed. Or perhaps they can be transplanted if the road menders come to fill the pot hole.
They are are cheery sight on yet another grey day.
Snap Ha ha I've just posted about a pothole!!
I've just been to look - brilliant!
That would be an unexpected joy to see..
It was, I shall enjoy the photograph for quite a while
Ha ha! I think a whole flowerbed could be planted in our roads. You can see them a lot more clearly now that the snow is melting from the roads!
A pothole hiding in a puddle is a bone-rattling thing to find when the roads are flooded!
What an amazing sight! I wonder if someone was making a point about potholes. They really are a menace.
I think it was a Very British Complaint... (there's a website with tshirts etc of Very British Complaints)
Who planted them? Do the vehicles drive round them?
It's all a mystery! I shall get my husband to check over the weekend...
