The semifinal between Mark Allan and Wu Yize has been riveting. It's still going, and they've started another frame so this is all I'm posting today...
I haven't watched it today, but did watch on Thursday evening.. Last year my cousin Julian went up to the Crucible to watch some of the matches in person.
It didn't finish until after half past eleven last night... but I had to stay up. It went right to the wire... 16 frames all, so just a deciding frame, after 4.5 hours of play. (They started the previous evening!)
I've been watching for the last 16 days! Not keen on Sean Murphy - he is always a bit too pleased with himself so I hope he gets beaten by Wu Yize who is so young and talented.
It's addictive, isn't it? What a match - in fact as the end draws nearer, the skills of the players improve and I can't un-glue myself! Now we have the final - and what a match that will be.

DeleteI'm not a snooker fan and the sunshine keeps me outside, it will be very different when the tennis is on TV.
