It is lovely, and I think the morse code, which is commemorating her mother's wartime work at Bletchley Park, is a very clever and effective touch.
This is a short post. I'm feeling all in. For various reasons I've had a tiring Autumn, and for once I'm really looking forward to Winter now that the worst of various major (for me!) undertakings have been undertook, if you get my meaning.
Early night beckons... I'm off to make a cup of the 'night-time' blend herbal tea.

ReplyDeleteI think winter has been a dark, cold, miserable time for so long; through winter terms at school (hockey, lacrosse, ugh) and then when I was working (living in unheated houses, up and off to work in the cold, the frantic and exhausting run up to Christmas) and finally struggling through one chesty infection after another. I've got a lot of unpicking to do to revise my mindset and find a new way of thinking! I'm determined to rethink this season.

ReplyDeleteBletchley Park is the most amazing place to visit. A real sense of the atmosphere of the times. The work done was so vital, so demanding.

ReplyDeleteWell I never! They are a wonderful group; so musical, so skilled. I haven't listened to the new lineup which has a female singer.
