A visit from the electrician and his right-hand-man today has resulted in face-plates - I think that's what they are called - being fixed in our extension. We have working ceiling lights and sockets, and the opening sections of the skylights now open and close at the touch of a switch!
This is wonderful! I am ridiculously happy!
BB has been building the little sentry box shed in the relative warmth of the extension - it is warmer than outside and sheltered from the very cold wind. We have checked that it will fit through the doors when it is finished.
And on Monday the kitchen installation begins... progress!
