Saturday 11th January - My Oxygenated Life

 When you find yourself sobbing into the sardines while making sardines on toast for supper...

Just check your oxygen levels...

There. All better now!

Supper was;

Can of sardines drained, bones removed (unless you like them... ugh, shudder).

Mash, with sriracha and chopped sun-dried tomatoes to taste. Or not. Spread on hot buttered toast. Excellent!

According to one study, eating a couple of cans of sardines per week can protect against diabetes 2...

    1. I love tinned sardines, they are very good for you. I only feel rubbish when I don't set the flow rate high enough for the activity. As soon as I turn it up I'm fine in literally seconds...

  2. I bought a couple of cans of sardines on offer in November. I should use them up. But without sriracha in the mash! I prefer a little mustard

    1. I hadn't thought of mustard... English or French?

  3. I mash sardines with lemon juice or vinegar and black or garlic pepper. I'd eat them more often, but they do like to revisit! Mustard sounds good. Any ideas for preventing that?

    1. I always aim to eat my last meal by 6.30, 7 at the latest, as reflux is a known issue with scleroderma, my underlying condition. Maybe not vinegar or lemon if you are having them at supper time?
