It was too hot to do anything energetic today.
But painting (watercolours, not walls) is a gentle activity.
Today I learned to do skies and clouds
I'm still doing my practising in a journal that the daughter gave me a couple of Christmases ago; the paper is definitely NOT designed for watercolour, which is why I've had to hold the page down with the china palette.
and added a sort of Norfolk marshes scene copied from my current "how to paint water colours"
The clouds have a slight look of distant mountains, or even steam trains. There are no mountains in Norfolk, but I suppose they could have been steam trains....?
