This week I have been using prayer 390 from Angela Ashwin's 'Book of a 1000 prayers'
If you are not someone who prays, then just skip the last two lines from each petition. Either way, having thought about these people, or prayed for them, the next step has to be to do something for them, even if it is a just friendly smile for a neighbour or a can of beans in the food bank collection. As the old saying goes, 'many a mickle makes a muckle'.
Eventually all our mickles should make up to something... so don't be discouraged, just add your mickles to the growing pile.
Absolutely - let us do small things with great love, for every little helps
ReplyDeleteYes. 'You in your small corner, and me in mine'!
DeleteI discovered your blog from a comment you left on Ang's blog! Now I shall be able to read your posts and admire your knitting. If I finish three socks, not pairs of socks! in a year i'm happy. But as you say it's the little 5hings that add up together; one stitch, one smile...
