Monday 2nd December - too much? Too many?

 How many Advent calendars is (are?) too many?

Jacquie Lawson; online calendar with a new short video, and additional games and puzzles every day

Sing for joy Advent Book; a short reflection on a carol

Son's mystery envelopes; it looks as though we may end up with a herd of happy reindeer,. The envelopes contain the decorative stickers to be added every day.

The Hariet de Winton daily watercolour picture.  Rather than painting the pictures onto a sheet of A4 paper, I'm painting in a teeny weeny sketchbook just 2" square. This is yesterday's picture. I've now ordered a set of really teeny weeny paint brushes, (that's the brush end, not the handle end!) before I do any more as my smallest size is the same as the largest size she uses!

Chocolate Advent calendars which have replaced our usual chocolate o'clock indulgence. The snow scene box which is the chocolate o'clock box has been put away for now.

The felt Corinne Lapierre calendar, which now looks like this

I promised my son and daughter, who gave it to me, to post a picture every day.

Also for my birthday a friend gave me '365 Days of Art in Nature' by Lorna Scobie. I couldn't wait until 2025 to start so I have already begun.

The prompt for the 1st was 'fill the page with leaves'. 'Rules are for sissies' I said to myself, as I drew seed heads on 30th November

This, supposedly drawn outside, is my bowl of pansies outside the front door

It was too cold, and, at 7pm, too dark, to draw 'en plein air'!

I think that's the lot... I didn't count them so I still don't know how many calendars there are.

  1. My Goodness - if you do all your Advent things each morning it will be lunchtime before you finish. I'm just appreciating my little book of readings and JacquieLawson. (thankyou for those}

    1. The activities last me all through the day...carol book first thing in bed, JL when I come downstairs, until chocolates and reindeers in the evening!
