I just had a quick look at St Richard's entry in Wikipedia, and I love that he was merciless to usurers. He seems to have been stern, but he at least stuck to his principles. Thank you for sharing this.
ReplyDeleteRichard of Chichester looks like being a Good Egg if a bit of a prickly character (though I daresay he would have preferred a more formal appreciation)
